Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information BlockBlastPlay.com processes and how it is handled. BlockBlastPlay.com is an independent website and is not affiliated with Hungry Studio or any official Block Blast publisher.

1. What Information Does BlockBlastPlay Process?

BlockBlastPlay does not require account creation to play the browser game or use the Solver. Most site functionality runs entirely in your browser. Information is processed in three limited contexts: local game-progress storage on your device, standard web server/security logs generated by normal hosting infrastructure, and information you choose to submit through the contact form.

2. How Does the Browser Game Store Progress?

The BlockBlastPlay browser game uses your browser’s localStorage to keep track of your current board, best score, and sound preference on your own device. Known storage keys include sbb_state, sbb_best, and sbb_mute. This data stays in your browser; there is no BlockBlastPlay user-account system, and game progress is not synced to any server or cloud account by the game itself.

3. How Does the Solver Handle Screenshots and Board Data?

The Solver reads and processes any board screenshot you provide directly in your browser. The Solver script does not upload your screenshot to a server as part of its own solving process, and does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB to persist Solver input/output data.

4. What Information Is Sent Through the Contact Form?

When you submit the contact form, the information you choose to enter — your name, email address, subject, inquiry type, and message — is sent by the site’s mail system to a private inbox used to manage the site. It is not published or displayed publicly. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, address technical, game, or Solver feedback, and handle privacy-related requests where applicable. We do not currently commit to a specific retention period for form submissions, and messages are transmitted through standard hosting/email infrastructure; we do not claim messages are encrypted at rest. Please do not submit passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information through the form.

5. Does BlockBlastPlay Use Cookies?

Based on our current runtime testing, anonymous visits to the site did not set site-specific cookies. This reflects current verified behavior of the pages tested and is not a permanent guarantee for all pages or future changes to the site.

6. Does BlockBlastPlay Use Analytics or Advertising Trackers?

Our most recent anonymous runtime inspection of tested pages found no site analytics or advertising tracking system actively operating on those pages. As with cookies, this describes current verified behavior rather than a permanent commitment.

7. What External Services Does the Site Use?

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. This creates a verified network chain of blockblastplay.com → fonts.googleapis.com → fonts.gstatic.com. Requesting these externally hosted fonts may cause your browser to communicate directly with Google’s infrastructure, which is subject to Google’s own privacy practices.

8. Server and Security Logs

Like virtually all websites, normal hosting and security infrastructure may process standard technical request data, such as IP address, browser/user-agent, request time, requested URL, and related security or server logs. This is a normal part of operating a website and is not specific to any BlockBlastPlay feature.

9. How Long Is Information Kept?

We do not maintain a fixed, published retention schedule. Retention of server/security logs and contact-form messages depends on operational and security requirements rather than a single fixed number.

10. Children’s Privacy

BlockBlastPlay is not designed to collect unnecessary personal information from children. Visitors should not submit sensitive personal information through the contact form.

11. External Links

Some pages on this site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or its underlying technical implementation. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. How to Contact BlockBlastPlay About Privacy

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to make a privacy-related request, please use the contact form and select “Privacy request” as the inquiry type.
